Caring for the medical needs of children in the Wiregrass region has been the mission of Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network since the founding of Dothan Pediatric Clinic in 1953. Over the past 70 years, the network has grown to include four general pediatric clinics and a pediatric subspecialty clinic: Dothan Pediatric Clinic (1953); Eufaula Pediatric Clinic (2008); Dothan Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic (2010); Enterprise Pediatric Clinic (2012); and Ozark Pediatric Clinic (2016). Shortly after establishing the Ozark clinic, the need for additional pediatric healthcare services in southeast Alabama was recognized. The leaders of Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network began planning for their expansion to Troy.

Following five years of planning, the groundbreaking ceremony for Troy Pediatric Clinic & Collegiate Health was held on December 8, 2022. Located at 717 John H. Witherington Drive, Troy Pediatric Clinic & Collegiate Health will offer pediatric and collegiate healthcare services in Troy and the surrounding area. Dr. Elizabeth Dawson, a longtime resident and pediatrician of Troy, will lead the medical team along with two certified pediatric nurse practitioners, and one certified registered nurse practitioner. Together, they will provide a full range of medical services for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

Troy Pediatric Clinic & Collegiate Health features a state-of-the-art facility for patients and their families, a full-service laboratory certified by CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) and COLA (Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation), and a twenty-four- hour triage service. Our physicians, nurse practitioners, and employees will strive to ensure your trust and confidence in our providers and facility. Thank you for choosing Troy Pediatric Clinic & Collegiate Health as your healthcare provider.
